What We Offer
Whatever your interests, we hope that The Shire @ Crockermoor can offer a chance to learn new skills, develop an interest, restore wellbeing or simply connect with others.
What We Offer
The Shire @ Crockermoor
We aim to provide our guests with the opportunity to learn a large variety of skills, making the most of the beautiful countryside we are based in. Activities available range from practical skills such as general farm maintenance, animal husbandry, fencing, walling and carpentry, gardening and horticulture, agriculture, arts, crafts, music therapy, baking and floristry; there really is something for everyone. We even have our own BBQ sensory lodge for guests to enjoy!
We have a wide range of animals here at The Shire @ Crockermoor, from pigs, sheep, miniature Shetlands, horses, pygmy goats, ducks, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, bearded dragons, tortoises and more, giving a unique opportunity to both learn about animal husbandry and benefit from animal and
nature-based therapy.
If animals aren’t for you, we also have vintage farm tractors and machinery in need of renovation, providing the opportunity for guests to restore it back to its original state and learn more about these machines.
Whatever your interests, we hope that The Shire @ Crockermoor can offer a chance to learn new skills, develop an interest, restore wellbeing or simply connect with others. We accept both private and professional referrals – please get in touch to find out more.
